Becca lead Keikoa straight to her temporary bedroom not saying another word about Oliva, or any probing questions about her. Keikoa hugged both Becca, and Fione tightly almost in tears, but not allowing herself to cry.

"Thank you both for what you've done, and I wish you all the best." Keikoa said after the embrace.

"Your welcome my dear, good luck with your trip and try to stop the Prince from getting into any more trouble than he already is." Becca said laughing.

"Nobody can't stop that man from getting into trouble, not even himself...Come along Becca, leave Keikoa to rest for the few minutes she has." Fione said taking Becca's hand and exiting the room.

Keikoa sat on the bed, smiling to herself, then laying on the bed to rest for a few minutes. She closed her eyes, and listened to the silence around her. Meanwhile Becca was excited about the news she had just heard. Fione, glanced at Becca who was grinning from ear to ear.

"Out with it." Fione said walking down the large hallway.

Becca stopped and turned to Fione, trying to whisper but failing miserably, "Do you remember Olive Gerard. The sweet lady who helped out our castle, and the castle tried to protect her but failed because the Constatine King had her killed."

"Yes how could I, I served her for days when she was here on that mission." Fione said.

"Well that sweet young girl Lady Keikoa is her daughter! Never in a million years did I think that Oliva had a daughter, I thought she was killed, but she is in there." Becca said.

Fione's mouth dropped open, then she gripped Becca's shoulders, "Do not tell anybody else, that girl could be killed if they found out who she was. Promise me Becca, if her secret was meant to be told then it will come out."

"Ok, ok I promise Fione."

|*|Cronus stood by the window, staring out into the gardens. He could feel Helena?s eyes piercing him. He turned his head slightly and noticed she was still sitting on the bed, her legs crossed, and leaning against her hands. Her head was tilted to the side, and her green eyes flickered in the light. Helena was in fact the youngest of the Constantine Princess?. They had met at a young age, when the treaty had first been signed by the two kings, and as a token of his gratitude the Constantine King had sent his youngest daughter to live and grow in Azaria.

Many had thought it a ploy to get inside the Kingdom, but Helena had become apart of the royal family in no time. At one point in his life Cronus had loved this woman, but that had been many years before he?d met the Durch Princess? She was of course still important to him, but he?d grown tired of her. She knew of how he felt, but she loved him nonetheless.

A messenger boy sat in the corner of the room, waiting patiently for Cronus to allow him to speak. ?What is it then?? Cronus said finally, realizing the boy was still there.
?Umm? oh, yessir, we got news from scouts that the princess is on her way here, accompanied by a man, and Lady Keikoa awaits you in her room, ready to go. And?? The messenger kept quiet suddenly, and Cronus turned to face him. ?And???

?Well? the Constantine Army has been spotted not far from here, and Prince Kain is leading the invasion,? the messenger said.
Prince Kain? it had been a while since Cronus had seen the Constantine prince, a ruthless, vile monster of a human being. If there was anyone Cronus loathed, it would be him.

Helena?s seemed to look as though she wanted to say something, but she just sat staring at Cronus open-mouthed. Prince Cronus walked over to the phone again and rang Keikoa?s room. He waited a while, and then heard her pick up the receiver on the other end. ?Keikoa? Umm, we won?t be leaving just yet. I?ve heard Adenosine is on his way here, so we?re going to wait for him. Actually we might not even leave. The Constantine Army have arrived here far sooner than expected, and Prince Kain is with them. If anything I want him dead by my hand. Perhaps after? we can still kill the king. Come over to my room, you can wait in here,? he?d said it as though they were going to get ice cream, revealing no compassion whatsoever for either of the Constantine Royals. |*|

Keikoa hung up slowly, dread filled her body slowly paralyzing her where she had sat up from her small nap. Now she would felt the urge to run, not because she was a lesser, not even because she was scared, but because Prince Kain was the one leading the army.

She could have delt with the King, even that nasty witch of a princess, even the head general, but Prince Kain... That man was ruthless, nothing got in his way, and nothing stopped him. He was determined, and he held a power stronger than any of the royals. Prince Kain, could move things just as she could, but was far more stronger, and he could command the element of fire at his will.

Keikoa shivered as she stood, waiting a while longer to even go into Prince Cronus' room. She walked over to the window, and leaned against the sill, trying to calm her nerves. Folding her arms, she concentrated hard keeping herself under control. Whenever she got like this, things seemed to start moving on her own, and she couldn't control it.

The similarity between Prince Kain, and her was uncanny, but there was no real connection. As far as she was concerned, she was Oliva Gerard's only daughter, and no one else carried her blood. Keikoa shook her head slightly, now-a-days it felt like her mother was appearing in her thoughts more often every day.

Keikoa turned from the window, and made her way out of her room. Closing the door lightly, she found it was fairly easy to find the Prince's room. Knocking two times, before entering, she stopped dead in her tracks. The girl resembled the royals so much it scared Keikoa. Keikoa stepped in, and laced her fingers in front of her saying nothing until spoken to.

Adenosine and the princess made it to the gates surrounding the castle city moments before they would be locked for the night. He told one of the guards that they were expected by the Beaumont prince. The head gatekeeper quickly called up a car to take them to the castle, it was only moments later they were standing outside the castle doors waiting to be announced.

"The king will see you now, Lord Adenosine and Princess Erica." a mousy little fellow said to them after a few minutes of waiting. Aden looked toward the princess and saw her flash a look of apprehension.

"Don't worry, let me do the talking." He told her and it seemed to perk her up a bit. When they reached the king Aden smiled to the king and walked right up to the throne, extending his hand which the king gratfully took, "It's been awhile Arvin, my how the years tore at you."

"Adenosine no need to sugarcoat on how I look, This is what happens in old age, of course you would know nothing of that." The old man actually seemed younger than he was, though Aden knew looks were deceiving and that the king did not have long to live.

"Von Lichtenstien has fallen to Constantine, it's time for you to moblize your armies. I brought the remaining member of the Durch family to your castle for protection." The king nodded at the request and clapped his hands. A couple of servants came in and the king told them to look after the princess and gestured Erica to follow them. When they finally left the king looked at Aden with a grim look.

"How long until they get here?"

"At least a couple of days an army that magnitude would be hard to move unnoticed." Aden could see the king's face perk up at this information, "If it is ok with you I would like to lead the charge against their forces."

"I will grant you that, now go I'm sure my son has some business with you." Aden bowed and turned and left the room. Once he got outside he called for an escort and told the driver to head to the Prince's lodgings, the future king had to learn to properly defend himself from a daemon and Aden was going to make sure he knew how.

Keikoa found a chair near the door, and sat, and crossed her legs. Lacing her fingers, she focused on not staring at the girl. Everything seemed to get stranger and stranger with every passing minute. Things were definitely moving to fast, Keikoa started to twiddle her thumbs to keep from moving objects in the room. A small figurine started to rise slowly on a desk, Keikoa wide eyes, glanced at Prince Cronus and grabbed it.

"This is um...very beautiful." Keikoa spoke almost in a whisper.

Keikoa pretended to look it over, and set it lightly back on desk. She shifted in her chair, her nerves jumpy already. Keikoa didn't have any clue what was happening to her, it seemed like her focus was just not coming in to play.

"Prince Cronus, may I ask you a question." Keikoa asked, then waited a moment before continuing on, "Do you know Oliva Gerard?"

|*| The Prince had been watching Keikoa quietly, noticing the tension in her face and the nervousness, which she held back so well. He sat down and averted his attention from her. It was only her question that seemed to make his eyes widen, and for some strange reason, cause his heartbeat to quicken.

?Oliva Gerard?,? he muttered softly, in almost a whisper, as he looked up at Keikoa strangely. He turned to look at Helena, but she too stared at Keikoa confusedly.
?W-why do you ask?? Helena said, her voice breaking its usual seductive tone. ?Lady Gerard was like a mother to me,? Cronus said, looking back at Keikoa.

?She was of a noble family of Azaria that married into the royals of Constantine. When the King died, she took to the throne. She was kind and powerful all together. She brought calm over the lands, but the other nobles didn?t approve and drove her out. She returned to Azaria and helped us fight. She was a saint to our people, and someone I could never forget,? the prince said all at once, staring at the ground, but his eyes were in far off place.

?She was my Aunt I believe,? muttered Helena. ?Though I never met her,? Helena said, making a sighing noise, and then she threw herself against the bed.
?Why do you ask Keikoa? Were the maidens talking about her?? Prince Cronus asked. |*|

(Sorry I was on a trip for a few days)

While Prince Cronus spoke, Keikoa grabbed the figurine once again, and fiddled with it. Her heart beat seemed to speed up, and was now going at a dangerously fast pace. Closing her eyes, she listened to the Prince, then her eyes shot open, and she stared at the women.

Hot tears slid down her face, as she continued to fiddled with the figurine. "That, that can't be true Oliva Gerard was just a servant, if she was a royal, she would want a better life for her child right?"

Keikoa stood shaking her head, and walking to the window. Silence engulfed the room for only a moment, before Keikoa found her voice to talk again. "The reason I asked, was because Oliva Gerard was..." Keikoa closed her eyes, then wiped them as if crying was foolish, "Oliva Gerard was my mother, but she can't be the saint you talk about. My mother was too ill, and we were poor, and the only reason why I'm even here today is because the king allowed me to serve him in his castle. Oliva Gerard was common, but she was the angel of my life. I can't be a royal, sorry I even asked.

Keikoa bent down slightly to wipe her eyes with the cloth from her dress. "Excuse me for my tears, its just I loved my mother and its a wound that is slow to heal." Keikoa turned back to the window, and stared trying to hold back more tears.

Aden was lead into the Prince's room and caught a part of the conversation that was taking place there.

"Oliva Gerard was my mother, but she can't be the saint you talk about. My mother was too ill, and we were poor, and the only reason why I'm even here today is because the king allowed me to serve him in his castle. Oliva Gerard was common, but she was the angel of my life. I can't be a royal, sorry I even asked."

Adenosine stopped where he was standing and felt a joy he haven't felt in years. *So the royal family still lives, They weren't all killed in coup like Alex said.* Aden walked further into the run and saw the prince turn to him in surprise, he also noticed another women in the room laying on the bed.

"Keikoa, Do not doubt you are a royal. You are the last living true heir to the Constantine throne." He looked at the girl on the bed again and realized that it was the current Constantine princess, "What is this usurper swine doing here?" He turned from the group, not waiting for a response, and walked to the door, "Prince if you need me, I'll be at the training grounds, I suggest you come there when your ready to learn new techniques to fighting a daemon."

Keikoa didn't even turn to Aden as he spoke. She merely shook her head again. It couldn't be, if this was true then why for so many years did her mother suffer. If it could have been erased, and Keikoa could have known what it was like to be a princess then why didn't her mother just tell her. The hardest thing was to believe that her mother didn't wish the best for Keikoa.

"This cannot be, my mother loved me dearly Cronus." Keikoa turned slowly to face him, "If she was a royal she would have told me, and showed me better things in live than living as a peasant. She told me that I could one day be a princess, not that I was. The Oliva you speak of isn't the one I love."

|*| The Prince couldn?t understand it all, and he too found it odd how Oliva Gerard could be the same woman they were all discussing, but suddenly Helena broke the silence, ?Oliva Gerard had the ability to replicate herself,? she said softly, she seemed to be slightly disheartened after being called an ?usurper swine?, but she bottled the feelings.

Adenosine seemed to be misinformed, not knowing that Helena never truly grew up as a Constantine. Cronus nodded at Helena?s statement, it seemed to be the only reasonable explanation of how they had all seemed to have somehow known Oliva.
?It would explain why she was ill, it takes a great amount of energy and strength to replicate one?s self, and she probably did not tell you, because it may have put the two of you in danger. Being royal? makes you arrogant, you may not have been the same woman you are now,? Helena had said.

Cronus turned to the black-haired woman, a smile spread across his face. It had been a while since he?d heard Helena speak such sense.
?It seems, Keikoa, that regardless of whether you choose to accept the fact that you are of royal blood, we all knew your mother, and? we all loved her. I?m surprised as you are to find out that you are indeed her daughter. This could take an interesting turn,? Cronus had said, but his last words were a mere murmur.

Helena shifted on the bed, her face looking worried. It seemed that even without speaking his intention to the girl, she?d already read his thoughts.
?But Cronus, my family?? she asked, her voice cracking and a tear running down the length of her cheek.
He wanted to say something, but he didn?t want to complicate it, so he ignored her and instead turned to Keikoa, ?Lady? Keikoa, what do you suspect we do? It seems Adenosine expects me to stay here and fight this battle with them. So shall we stay and fight this war, or travel to Septium and? remove the King?? |*|

Keikoa sat down finally, and set down the figurine. It had seemed her nerves were settling down. Keikoa sat as if she were stone, and didn't blink and it appeared she wasn't breathing. After a long time of silence, she nodded.

"What you say must be true, and it would useless for me not to accept it and continue in denial." Keikoa said her color returning to normal.

She smiled, at Helena then leaned foward to touch her hand lightly. "I know you don't me, but if my mother was indeed your aunt that makes us family. And I hate to see 'any' body so sad. Aden doesn't know that what he says effects other people, and he is foolish for not recognizing." Keikoa sat back in her chair, and pressed a finger to her lips, "And of your family..."

Keikoa merely shook her head, and decided not to venture on the subject. She laced her hands in her lap, and stared at them for just a moment. "I believe that if we removed the King, it would do any use because Kain would just move foward for his own gain. He is truly is father's son.... and from recent news my brother. Kain can move things just as I, and can be dangerous. I think you should stay and fight, because if Kain is killed, getting to the king would be a breeze." Keikoa said nothing more and remained silent.

Now she truly felt exhaustion. Almost being killed, finding out something she would never thought would be true of her mother took a toll on her stamina. Keikoa blinked, her eye lids feeling heavy. Now it seemed like sleep would be the one thing that wouldn't be achieved for the longest time.

|*| Prince Cronus nodded; he often sometimes needed somebody?s opinion to help him decide his own. ?I shall attend to Adenosine? I will see you two later I suppose,? he said, walking out of the room. He headed down towards the area Adenosine said he would be waiting, wondering what on Earth this technique was for fighting a Demon. He?d suddenly remembered that Adenosine had been accompanied by the Princess, and he?d been so concentrated, he hadn?t realized he?d walked straight past her.

She was standing by a window staring out into the Distance. ?Princess??? Cronus muttered softly walking towards her. She turned at the sound of his voice and stared at him.
?Cronus, I- I didn?t want to disturb you,? she said, her face turning red. ?I?m sorry about what happened at the Durch Castle, I just couldn?t speak,? She said, looking down.
Cronus looked at her, his face revealing no emotion whatsoever. The old temptation he used to have for her seemed absent. He felt no pull to reach out and kiss her lips passionately, nor the sweet serenity her perfume brought for him. She seemed different.

?I?m glad you are safe Erica,? he said to her. He wanted to say more, but he felt awkward around her, as though she were a stranger to him. He couldn?t understand what was happening to him. He was drawing further away from everyone, his emotions trapped inside of him, and his feelings somehow disintegrating slowly. ?I?ll talk to you later,? he said, turning from her and leaving her standing there seemingly confused.

He approached Adenosine, walking fairly briskly and loudly, ?Come on the, Sir Adenosine, I am ready to learn,? Cronus had said. |*|

Aden looked up at the prince and could tell something was wrong but didn't persue upon it. He pulled his sword from its sheath and slammed its point in to the ground. He focused all his anger and could feel himself transforming into the daemon. When he felt the transformation complete itself he spread out his wings to their full span.

"Most daemons have speed and strength far exceeding a human." He ran towards Cronus and could tell he was moving fast by look on his face. "I have trained for a long time to be able to see a daemon move. That took near five years I'm hoping to train you in three days." He picked Cronus up and threw him across the lot. "I will also teach you how to differentiate between the ranks of the Daemons, high ranking ones always have full horns while the lowest rank has none and are often tasked to menial work." He charged Cronus without warning, grabbed him and headbutted him, "You got to do better than that."

(sorry for its shortness and retardedness)

|*| Cronus hadn't been expecting anything like this. Adenosine had turned into a Daemon. He was more afraid, than surprised, and was taken off guard when the "man" ran at him. His speed and strength was uncanny, throwing Cronus around as if he were nothing. Cronus rose to his feet again. The thought of slaying this Daemon struck his mind, but it seemed different, it seemed controlled. "Adenosine... what have you become?" he muttered. Cronus drew his sword, "I am aware of their ranks, i studied it quite vividly as a child." |*|

The signs of a storm showed in the skies. Black clouds engulfed the sky, leaving only spots of sunlight to shine through. This would be an advantage, to Prince Cronus, and his army, and would surely slow Kain and his army down. Keikoa turned away from the window, to see Helena sulking on the bed. The two women, had barely spoken since the Prince left, and Helena's melancholy mood left a rather irritating atmosphere. Keikoa sighed deeply, and walked toward the door turning.

"Would you like to join me for a walk outside?" Keikoa asked softly.

Helena looked up her eyes growing bigger, "But look at the sky...."

"The storm will not come for at least another hour, and it will start off slow. Just a little walk around, so you can get rid of this mood. Besides it seems we have alot of catching up to do...cousin." Keikoa said trying to make the best out of a worse situation.

Helena nodded, and stood following Keikoa out of the door. Keikoa remember exactly how to get out of the building. Once outside the smell of rain hit Keikoa bringing a smile to her face. For once she could enjoy the weather instead of dreading that it would cause her more work to do. Keikoa and Helena walked the path, Becca had showed her earlier.

Helena eyes were downcast, and Keikoa shook her head slightly. "You know it's obvious."

"What exactly?" Helena replied casting a sideways glance to Keikoa.

"Your love for Prince Cronus." Keikoa said shrugging.

"Yes, that is evident, why do you point it out?" Helena asked accusingly.

"No reason, just making small conversation. Well I see that subject is touchy to you so shall we talk about something else?" Keikoa said pausing, "So you say you never met my mother."

"Yes I was very unfortunate not to meet one of the greatest royals ever to walk. Oliva knew genuine compassion, and I think thats why the people really loved her." Helena said half smiling, "I know it sounds silly, but I felt kind of glad that I was related to someone who had became a legend."

"Oh don't be, I'm feeling that too now, even more than before." Keikoa said smiling.

Finally the two girls were becoming close, not know the dangers that were ahead.

|| Prince Cronus hadn?t heard Adenosine?s answer as one of the suitors interrupted them.
?Sire,? the man said. ?Sorry for troubling you, but your father has asked you appear before him,? he said.
Cronus looked at Adenosine, ?Seems another time then,? he said, following the messenger man.

He could hear voices from somewhere in the garden, but didn?t pause to see who it was. His father had come all the way from the main castle to his quarters, so it must have been something important.

He stepped into his own throne room, knowing his father would have taken the throne their. He walked, forwards, his head looking down, and bowed before his father, ?What is it, M?lord?? he asked as he kissed his fathers shaking fist.

?I saw you out there, in the gardens, is that Adenosine? It seems the demons finally got to him. I wanted to give you something Cronus,? his father said, his voice very weak now.

Cronus said nothing, but listened intently now. The King held his hand out, and a man came forward handing the King a long box. He handed it to Cronus, instructing him to open it.
?This sword, created by Constantine?s who first learnt how to control the Daemons, can cut through any Daemon. It was locked away in our vault, but I see the time has come now for it to of use again. It was last used? by Oliva Gerard,? The king said, coughing profusively.
?Father, relax a little,? Cronus said, worried about the king?s state of health.

The King smiled at his son, ?I am proud of you, Cronus. You have overcome much, and you choose your companionship well. May you crush the enemy, and save us all,? he said.
The King bent over in the Throne, wheezing heavily and then went silent. Cronus stared at his father in confusion. ?Father??? he muttered, tapping the king?s arm, but there was no reply? the King of Azaria, The Beaumont King was dead. ||

(Sorry school is killing me with homework and it's only the second day back.)

Aden allowed Cronus to leave to go see what his father wanted. When he was finally out of sight, Adenosine took off the ground at a fast pace and flew in the direction that Kain's army was coming from. When he got close he noticed the huge siege weapons that would be used to breech the city and could tell they were not human. *So they got the daemons to create them siege engines. This will be the hardest fight Beaumont will ever face.* He was turning away to report back to the king when he heard sweet music that drew him back. It was coming from the center of the army where all the daemon master would be. *No, must not fall for their siren's call.* He shook his head trying to clear his head of the tune but it kept drawing him. Aden knew he wouldn't be able to withstand it since he was still getting used to the daemon's form, so he flew higher up and came flying down as fast as he could hoping to disrupt the song. When he got closer the daemon masters panicked and stopped thier chanting and tried to run, but some were unsuccesful as they fell under Aden's deadly talons. He charged through the ranks of the army which was easy work since the soldiers were still shocked by the attack.

"Sieze the daemon!" "Kill it!" "Run!" Aden was able to directly get Kain's command vechicle before he was stopped by hundreds of chains. Aden couldn't see Kain but he could hear him directing the soldiers to pull tighter on the chains to make sure he didn't escape.

"My, if it isn't Sir Adenosine, Leader of the Constantine Royal Guard. Seeing as how you are a traitor to the throne you shall be killed." Kain started to laugh but that was quickly cut off by the screams of Aden as pain just flooded his body. In a last act of survival he pushed with all his might trying to get off the ground but was unsuccesful by the weight of the chains. Aden began to scream knowing his end was in sight but didn't want to give up. He tried everything until the last moment when he was stabbed one last time, forever sealing his fate.

Immediately Keikoa knew something was off. Helena, and Keikoa rushed to find Prince Cronus, but instead ran into something more horrific. She could recognize a monster a thousand miles away, especially if it looked like Kane, and carried an army just as great. Keikoa felt helpless, he could kill Aden just as easily as he could snap his fingers, with one single command.

"Go...Hurry, find the prince, and tell him that Kain is here." Keikoa spoke very quickly to Helena, who had grown pale at the sight of Aden, and Kane and his army.

Keikoa had to give Helena a head start push to get her moving. She tried to shake her nerves, so she could at least help Aden, but it didn't seem to help. Fear gripped her causing goosebumbs to run down her body. Keikoa put a shaky hand up to try to stop Prince Kain, but nothing seemed to help. Closing her eyes, she lowered her hand, then shot it up. Keikoa opened her eyes and felt her power beginning to work.

The chains that seized Aden seemed to come closer together to lessen the pull. It put a strain on Keikoa's hand as if she had a very bad writer's cramp, but she proceeded. Kain turned quickly noticing his same power, and knowing only one person possessed almost as strongly as he could. Keikoa tried to loosen the chains on Aden so he could free himself, in time before Kain struck her.

Kain's laugh rang out louder than Aden's screams again. "Very good try my dear, but you will die here just like every one else...Sister." Kain merely waved his hand, and sent Keikoa flying backward. It didn't seem like very good odds against him, but if they fought together Kain would surely go down.
