~|~ Prince Cronus had no time to mourn, a messenger appeared informing Cronus, that the Constantine army had arrived upon Azaria. He placed a hand on the King, and then turned on his heel and left the throne room, with sword in hand.

He raced across the hallways and passed the servants, who were now standing in a ranked line along the corridor, but he ignored it and proceeded to the garden, in search of Keikoa.
“Helenia, where is the woman?” he asked, grabbing the sobbing woman by her shoulders.
She sniffed and said, “She ran off, Kain is here… Don’t leave me, please,” she sobbed, grabbing onto his arm. He pushed her hand away, and broke out into a sprint.

He arrived on the battlefield. It was now filled with Azarian Knights and soldiers fighting against the Constantine forces. It was a brutal blood bath, and in the distance he caught sight of the large moving platform that Prince Kain was on. He could see him standing at the front of it.

Cronus expelled bursts of sphere energy in all directions, knocking back foes and allies alike. His only target was Prince Kain. He ripped open the box, and pulled the large sword out. It was long, and had a golden hilt, with a red jewel embedded into either side. The blade itself was curved, and serrated. He slashed at several enemies, cutting through them with ease, and then latched onto the lower handles of the platform and pulled himself up.

He jumped onto the deck, holding the sword out before him, “Kain, this ends here!” he shouted running forwards, but he was knocked off his feet, as Kain held up a hand. He noticed Keikoa and Aden lying beside him. Keikoa was still breathing, and he looked at her, “I’m sorry I was too late,” he said.

He rose to his feet once more, and held his hand out just as Prince Kain held out his, and Cronus’ sphere erupted in the middle like a grenade going off. Cronus used the sword to lift himself up and ran at the Prince, but was suddenly flanked by one of Prince Kain’s guards. He parried and sliced the demon’s throat, the blood spilling across his face.

Through gritted teeth he ran at the man, who in turn had drawn his own sword now. Cronus slammed the sword down hard upon Kain, who blocked, and returned with a slash of his own cutting Cronus across the chest. Cronus laid a hand on Kain, releasing another sphere as he did, and the Constantine prince was thrown backwards, and in his place several knights soon filled. Cronus yelled out, and drove his sword through the first, releasing a series of more sphere’s at the other’s.

Prince Kain, had held his hand out, but Cronus’ had negated his powers with his second ability, and ran towards the man. Realizing this, Kain held his sword out, an evil smirk playing on his face.

Cronus gripped his own sword with both hands, and ran straight into Kain, driving his sword straight through the Constantine. Kain fell onto Cronus, and then slowly slid down to the ground. Cronus stared at the body, stumbling backwards as he removed Kain’s sword from his own chest. He fell to his knees as the blood spurted out, causing him to cough up more blood. He turned back to look at Keikoa, “You have my throne, and Constantine's. Rule as your mother did,” he whispered, collapsing onto Kain. ~|~

Keikoa fought to even breathe, the force of Kain's power knocked the breath out of her. She saw Prince Cronus as a blur, and tried to rise. It was hard due to the fact that her whole body felt like bricks, but she tried to ignore it and stand again. Keikoa was on all fours, then pushed herself up standing.

Stumbling at first, she regain her composure just in time to see Prince Cronus' sword pierce Kain. Keikoa smiled ready to rejoice, but then the smile quickly faded. ?You have my throne, and Constantine's. Rule as your mother did,? Prince Cronus said to her.

"No." Keikoa whispered, barely able to talk.

Keikoa rushed to Prince Cronus pulling him off of Kain, and laying him on his back. She pushed her hair out of her face furious, touching his wound with her finger tips. Blood was everywhere, and completely ruined her dress, but none of this matter. The one man who saved her, told her the secret that would forever crown her royalty was dead. Keikoa shook her head, pressing down on the would. It wasn't over yet, it couldn't be, he was suppose to dethrown the Constatine King. It was his dream not hers, Prince Cronus would ahve to live.

"Please stay, you have so much to fight for here and if you die, who is going to help these people now." Keikoa said tears running down her face unto Cronus, "I...I can't do this, I never could. You just can't die."

As Keikoa pressed down harder, she yelled "Aden get up, somebody please help. The prince is dying."

Keikoa's mind was going at a thousand miles per hour. What was she suppose to do? There seemed to be nothing left for her to do. A memory popped back into her mind, when they were at the old road with the demons. A new hope sprang up.

"Yete" Keikoa whispered. The name of the man who healed Aden in his injury, surely he could save the prince. While still pressing the Prince's wound, Keikoa yelled for her life. "Yete...Yete please if your alive help me. Please come the Prince is dying. Yete!!" Keikoa was unsure if her yelling was in vain, but there was nothing wrong with trying.

The sound of someone screaming brought Aden back to consciousness. He sat up and saw Keikoa was kneeling over someones body, he felt dizzy and couldn't process what was happening. Aden looked for the wounds that would cover his body but there weren't any, *I must have my healing back.* When Keikoa stopped her yelling for Yete Aden stood and walked over to her and gently moved her out of the way.

"If I really have my healing back this should bring him back." Aden cut his wrist and held the wound over Cronus' mouth, waiting to see the reaction. When color returned to his face, Aden looked towards Keikoa and smiled, "He'll be fine, Princess, stay here and watch over him." Aden stood up and jumped off the platform heading towards the area where the daemon masters were congregating trying to protect themselves from the onslaught of Beaumont troops. They were getting weaker and Adenosine could tell they were only calling out low level daemons to save energy. With beastkin unsheathed, Aden charged the wall of daemons and quickly passed through with barely any effort. The men inside the circle started to scream as Aden cut them down, hoping to destroy the evil that plagued Constantine. Bodies littered the inner circle of masters as Aden confronted the last of the Daemon masters, Aleksander. The man's arm looked as if nothing was wrong with after what happened at Durch. "You have no chance Alek."

"Come now, Aden. I still have enough power to defeat you." He quickly said the chant to bring out the strongest daemon his frail body would allow. This daemon was nothing compared to any of the others that Aden had fought, it seemed to be part of the lowest classes and looked like it was about to die of fright. Aden couldn't help but laugh at it. After he stopped laughing he cut the daemon down and advanced upon Alek. "Now Aden, no hard feelings right." Aden didn't hear the pleas of the man only sound of his final gasp as his sword cut through the mans neck. Adenosine stood among the bodies of the cursed men and felt happy that his home would finally be saved from the evil of the daemons.

|| He remembered nothing but a subtle metallic taste in his mouth. He swallowed hard finding it hurt a little. He opened his eyes, to find Keikoa staring down upon him.
?What happened? did you?,? he muttered, he moved a hand down to where the wound was, but found that it had healed, the spot was still damp with blood, but he was fine.

He sighed with relief, and looked at Keikoa. He sat up, staring at Keikoa, ?Who did this?? he asked amazed, but he had a feeling he already knew. He felt he owed Keikoa something. She hadn?t abandoned him, even when he was dead. He leaned forwards and embraced her with a kiss, everything else in his mind seemed far away, and then he stopped, thinking how sudden his reaction was, and how awkward it might make her feel. ?I?m sorry, I don?t know what came over me,? he said, rising to his feet.

He looked over to Kain, his body lay dead in a pool of blood. Cronus felt no remorse for his actions. He had been a monster of a human, and the son of tyrant. Cronus dug in his pockets pulling out a phone, ?Guard, relocate to the airship we will be taking off, the battle is only beginning. The palace will be heavily fortified so bring a few extra men,? he said. It was time to regroup the Royal Guard.

He looked down to find Keikoa had not moved, he bent down in front of her, ?Come on, we must go,? he said, taking her by the arm, and lifting her up. He walked over to Kain, and bent down. He removed a golden ring from one of Kain?s fingers, and a silver necklace with a medallion shaped as angel wings, and then handed them to Keikoa, ?I will explain later,? he said.

They entered onto the private airship, greeted by the royal guard. Roderick smiled shyly at Keikoa, ?Milady, glad to see you are unharmed,? he said. It seemed word had unintentionally spread of Keikoa?s heritage around Azaria. Gerret and Altier stood, talking furiously behind a desk It seemed Altier had been hurt rather badly, as he was clutching his arm, and Yete stood beside him fussing him about it, only to be shunted away by the commanding officer.

?Altier, fire it up, to Constantine,? Cronus shouted.
?Yes sire!? the man responded immediately, leaving the room.
?So King Cronus Beaumont is now, M?lord?? Gerret said. ?My heart is broken at your loss, sire.?
Cronus nodded, but said, ?Alert Altier, that he is to find Adenosine, and pick him up as well. We will need his help,? Gerret nodded, and left the room.

He sat down on a couch, ?Those things Kain had, belonged to your mother. I didn?t want to tell you back in the room, because I thought it might interfere with your feelings, but? Kain was your brother. He is nothing like you or your mother. The Constantine King had no son and so he took Kain from your mother. I?m sorry I didn?t tell you,? Prince Cronus said, as the airship began moving.

?Oh, and I?m sorry about what happened earlier,? he muttered, not looking at her directly. ||

Everything seemed faded now, nothing really real, and things that were in the now seemed so far away. The thoughts were reeling, causing Keikoa to remain silent after the kiss. Too many things were happening at once. A war was coming, but that was something that was far from her mind. Kain, was dead, Prince Cronus seemed to have lived through death, but even now Keikoa couldn't seemed to concentrate. What did the kiss mean? Since Prince Cronus had taken in Aden's blood was he too a demon? So many questions Keikoa was afraid to ask continued to roll over and over in her mind.

Even though Kain was her brother, she felt no closeness to him, no type of bond that would cause her grief, but yet she felt a twinge of pain for him. A brother she would never love, he turned on the wrong side. Keikoa couldn't help but to think that maybe if Kain would have stayed with Oliva, and herself surely he would be different. His livestyle wouldn't have resulted in death. Keikoa felt a tear slip from her eyes, and she pressed her hand firmly on her cheek as if to stop it. What was this emotion she felt toward someone she hated so.

Keikoa turned to Prince Cronus who wouldn't even look at her now. "Don't...don't worry about it, it was just something that happened in a moment. I'm sure you were glad to be alive thats all." Keikoa rose to her feet, and looked down at her blood stained dress, "I'm glad your alive Prince Cronus, but if you will excuse me I have to find somewhere to wash up."

Keikoa walked out of the little cabin, only to bump into Roderick. "I'm sorry..." Keikoa seemed ruffled, which brought a look of concern to Roderick's face.

"Are you okay Lady Keikoa." Roderick asked, taking Keikoa's hand and giving it a comforting squeeze.

"I'm fine, just a little shaken up thats all. Would you mind showing me some place to wash up." Keikoa asked.

"Of course My lady right this way." Roderick lead the way down the short narrow hall.

Roderick stopped in front of a door, and opened it revealing a bathroom. He smiled, as she tried to give a weak attempt at a smile herself. Keikoa said nothing else but entered the bathroom and shut the door. A war was coming, and she had to get herself together. There was no time for emotions that would only get in her way.

_- Prince Cronus got up as Keikoa left, watching her, and then he walked over to the window as the ship took off. The battle ground was still noticeable, although Azaria had clearly won, the Constantine forces persisted. It seemed they would fight till the death. It had gone better than he?d expected, with no prince, no commander, they would be defeated.

It was time to turn their attention elsewhere now, but he still could not help the feeling of guilt over come him as he stared down at his Kingdom ruined by the battle. ?Sire, we?ve located the Durch Knight, awaiting your orders,? a voice rang out from a nearby intercom. Cronus picked up a receiver, ?Pick him up,? he said simply, placing it back down. It missed and hung loosely, but he hadn?t seemed to have noticed.

He moved his fingers over his lips, thinking deeply over what had happened in the past few minutes. He lifted his shirt, staring at the wound which seemed to have stopped healing even though it still hurt a little. Kain?s blade must have been enchanted otherwise Aden?s blood would have healed it fully. No matter though, it wasn?t worrying him any.

The door opened and in stepped Adenosine. Cronus walked over to the man, grabbed him respectfully around his forearm, ?I thank you Sir Adenosine, your noble deeds shall be rewarded, and I shall someday return the favor. But for now, where do you think we should set out on our attack? The front doors? or kill him silently?? -_

The Prince's ship came flying over head and stopped near Adenosine, he hurried and entered and the ship took off again. Cronus immediatly came over to him and and grab his forearm.

?I thank you Sir Adenosine, your noble deeds shall be rewarded, and I shall someday return the favor. But for now, where do you think we should set out on our attack? The front doors? or kill him silently??

"A frontal assualt would fail miserably. If I remember correctly from my time in the service of the Gerard's, there should be a hidden entrance outside the city that should lead to the royal courtyard." Aden put his right up to his chin in deep thought, "That path should be unguarded seeing as how it will only open up for the rightful heir or the last royal knight. This would allow us to quickly surprise the king and allow Keikoa to deliver the death blow." Adenosine quickly grabbed a peice of paper that was lying out and drew a map to where the entrance should be, "The corridor is also very long and only goes in a straight line so we wont have to worry about our flanks." Aden finished the sloppy map but made sure it was clear enough on where the entrance was and where to hide the ship so it wouldn't be seen.

"Sir it seems we are coming up on Constantine." The voice of the pilot said over the intercom. Aden sat down in one of the chairs and unsheathed his sword and cleaned it to pass the time till they made the assualt on Constantine.

"Who feels like delivering the news to Keikoa that she will have to kill the king?" Aden said to break the silence though no one spoke up, "I guess we'll wait till we make our move."

Keikoa came out of the bathroom smoothing down her red hair only to find Roderick standing there like a statue. Keikoa smiled, and Roderick let her pass. "If you don't mind me saying so, if you need somebody to talk to I am here for you Lady Keikoa." Roderick said making Keikoa stop and turn around.

A caring smile crossed her face. Keikoa grabbed one of Roderick's hands, and squeezed it reassuringly. "You can be as strong as an ox, but my dear Roderick, you are a gentle as a dove. I appreciate your concern, but I'm fine. I'm just taking everything that I've learned in the best I can. But you can be sure that I have any problems or concerns, or anything I need to talk about you will be the first one I come to."

Roderick nodded, smiling widely. Who would even know that Keikoa would actually have friends, people who cared about her, and she the same. Keikoa made her way back to the room, to see Aden, and Prince Cronus. Keikoa sat down crossing her legs. She looked new, and had her color back. "Hi Aden. " Keikoa laced her fingers, she could sense tension in the air, but she let it go and remained silent.

|| Prince Cronus felt slightly awkward once Keikoa had returned, but he said nothing, and continued staring out the window, staring down at the large kingdom of Constantine expanding in all directions below them. He breathed heavily and then turned around. ?Okay then, Sir Adenosine has instructed that we make a stealthy assault on the castle. If we are to succeed everybody must play their part,? he said.

?Keikoa, you will have to kill the king. Do it for you mother?s sake, and your brothers? if it wasn?t for King Constantine you would have all been together right now. I need to trust that you will be able to do it,? Prince Cronus said, his voice far sterner than he intended it to be.

The ship descended, and hovered above an open ground within the castle walls. Gunshots echoed as the ship expelled several rounds down at the ground, ensuring that it was safe.
?Area secured, hurry, they?ll send up interceptor ships in no time!? shouted the captains voice from the intercom.

The door opened and Cronus immediately grabbed his sword, and gripped a metal link on a rope that cascaded down to the ground. He latched on, and jumped out of the ship followed by the rest of the royal guard. He jumped onto the ground, unlatching himself, and took down an approaching Constantine guard. He then looked up, awaiting the rest of the troupe. ||

Keikoa was frozen solid. Why in the world would she want to kill anyone? Yes, Keikoa hated the King, but she could bring her hand to shed blood of even a man like that. She wasn't completely sure, and she even tried to think of her mother, and brothers. Nothing seemed to ease the sickening feeling that was rising her stomach.

Keikoa followed behind Prince Cronus, and his soldiers. If it was her intention, Keikoa would rather not fight. Roderick came up beside her and handed her a sword. He brought down an uncoming soldier.

"Lady Keikoa, I've searched out this just for you. It was Oliva's, and I think it would search you good. We can't protect at all times here, so use it well." Roderick went off running.

Keikoa held the blade, and felt a certain power. Emotions welled up in her, but there was no time for that now. Keikoa ran to follow suit behind Prince Cronus. The closer she got to him the safer she would feel. Maybe she would even convince him that, he should bring that final blow to the king.

The soldiers, rushed foward along side with the demons. Keikoa put her hand up knocking them all off their feet. It was a strange feeling the sword gave her, it was as if more power was being fed into. Keikoa glanced over at Cronus, and lifted a brow sarcastically. Keikoa let him lead, "If I should die on this battle field or even before our mission is completed. I love you. I love you as a friend, and much more because you gave me something nobody could have ever given me. My life back, and I thank you." Keikoa said, but then was thrown off her feet, by a demon. It was enough to cause her soreness, but nothing serious. Keikoa tried to fight off the demon with her sword.

Aden jumped out of the ship without the need of the ropes and hit the ground with shattering force. He winced at the proceeding pain *Ow! shoulda thought that through.* He repositioned all his limbs and waited for everything to heal. Cronus seemed to take the initiative and was already charging the soldiers. Aden stood up and unsheathed beastkin and joined the fray. The smell of blood or the sight of carnage did not trigger the daemon, leaving Aden in full control of himself. The last line of Constantine's defense was nothing compared to what they had faced, the daemons were low ranking and the soldiers weren't that well trained.

"Only a bit farther to the entrance." Aden yelled to the others as they slowly made their way towards the hidden entrance, when he turned back to look at the group he saw Keikoa defending herself from a daemon. He moved to go help her but he stopped himself and watched her take it on. He pulled a little vial out and cut his arm filling it with his blood. *I must remember to give this to her before she takes on the king.*

[] The Prince was dissolved into the scurry, fighting with new found strength, as he cut down the enemy. It seemed the stronger of their forces had gone off to war, leaving behind the lesser trained, but regardless it was still a struggle. They were outnumbered at least three to one. In his mind however, he thought ahead. Hoping Keikoa was readying herself for what was to come.

From the moment he had seen her in the King?s Quarters he had seen the kindness and innocence within her, her soft caring aura seemed unusual to him, which was the reason he intervened. But now he hoped he was wrong. He hoped she would come to her senses, and take revenge on the man who destroyed her life, and ruined her family.

He saw a group of soldiers run towards him, but they were thrown off their feet even before he could raise his own hand to do so, and he had turned around to see Keikoa join him. He smiled at her, at ease now that he saw she was unharmed. He followed just behind Adenosine, who was now showing them to the entrance.

"If I should die on this battle field or even before our mission is completed. I love you. I love you as a friend, and much more because you gave me something nobody could have ever given me. My life back, and I thank you." he heard Keikoa say.

At first he didn?t understand quite exactly what she said, as his mind was racing already, and at that moment as he turned he saw a demon strike her down, and he rushed forwards, impaling his blade into its back, and then twisted the blade before he ejected it.

He reached down and picked her up, ?I love you too, but I didn?t do that, Keikoa? you did. All I did was grab you and throw us out that window. The reason you?re here today is because of you. And I promise you, none of us shall die here today,? he said, but satisfying his feelings would have to wait, because the final resistance stopping them from the entrance had approached. []

"You can never promise me that." Keikoa said, her nerves already jumping from the soldiers.

Keikoa noticed, a small girl among them. It was Amalia, holding a scroll. The girl looked scared to death, but only one thing could possess her to be out on a battle field where no servant should be. Amalia had a mission that she had to complete dead or alive. Keikoa waited until the soldiers, along with demons, rushed foward. Her only main concern was getting to Amalia, the young child shouldn't see such death.

A demon came at her quickly, almost to the point where she couldn't see it. Keikoa put her hand up out of fear, hoping that her power could at least slow it down, so she could see. The demon stoppe a few feet in front of her, Keikoa brought the blade up, an was amazed at how easily the blade cut through the demon. The more death, the more soldiers, and demons seemed to come almost out of nowhere.

It was eerie to think that just days ago, she was at this very castle living a ok life. Yes, things weren't the best, but they weren't this bad. Now she smelled death, and even on her skin she could feel it. Keikoa finally made it to Amalia, who was surrounded by guards. Amalia put her hand up, and all the soldiers seemed to ignore Keikoa, and focus on Cronus, and Aden along with the others. Keikoa still was on guard, this seemed a little bit to weird. It was as if the guards were forming a circle around both her, and Amalia keeping anything from even touching them.

Keikoa began to feel that sick feeling in her stomach that something horrible was about to take place. "Keikoa I wondered, why you ran away. The King had spoken to all the servants telling them that you were a trader, and you were never to return. Is it true you tried to kill the king?" Amalia said in a soft voice, her eyes looking up at Keikoa.

"No, I..." Keikoa was at loss for words.

"Why Keikoa...He took you in, even all of us..." Amalia said pressing her lips together, she unrolled the scroll, "By order of the King, Keikoa...Keikoa Gerard will be free to reign amongst the royals, only if she chooses to accept this ultimatum first. Keikoa Gerard will call of this raid, her friends will have no harm done to them, in return for the King's safety. Keikoa will stay at the Constatine Castle, and will be the first heir to the throne, making her first princess in line to be queen. Only if Keikoa Gerard stops right now will she be given her birth rights, to rule over the Constatine. If Keikoa Gerard chooses to decline the offer, she will be beheaded whether or not the King dies here today. A warrant will be put on her head for the rest of life, making her a fugitive." Amalia rolled up the scroll tears in her eyes, "I'm so sorry, Keikoa."

Keikoa couldn't breathe, her chest felt as if chains were constantly tightening around her. What could she do? Reign like her mother always wanted, or go on with the mission to kill the king. The two guards now stood beside her for her final answer. Maybe this was the way, maybe this was the way to protect Prince Cronus, Sir Aden, Roderick, Yete, all of them. They weren't safe now fighting for their lives. On the other hand the King had put her through enough, he didn't care for her like her friends had. If only she knew what to do now. She needed guidance. Keikoa needed someone to step in a be strong for her, because she couldn't handle it.

[] Cronus was submerged into the fighting once more, unable to watch over Keikoa, hoping the rest of the Royal Guard would do so. The hordes of the army overwhelmed him somewhat, and he flung his sword around wildly, having no distinct target in hopes that he’d kill them all.

A Soldier held his hand up, trying to conjure a demon, but Cronus quickly stepped in front negated the power, and cutting across the man’s face ruthlessly with the serrated blade in hand. He jump, releasing the spherical energy burst as he did, sending him hire, and causing the ground below to explode killing several more guards almost instantaneously.

He had caught sight of Keikoa being enclosed in a circle of Constantine’s, and at first he frowned, they didn’t seem to be harming her. He broke free of a soldier trying to attack him, and instead made for the circle.

“Only if Keikoa Gerard stops right now will she be given her birth rights, to rule over the Constantine. If Keikoa Gerard chooses to decline the offer, she will be beheaded whether or not the King dies here today. A warrant will be put on her head for the rest of life, making her a fugitive." It was the only bit he heard as he neared. At the sound of the threats laid upon Keikoa, he felt a hidden rage erupt within him, something demonic, uncontrollable, and he smashed through the circle, blade hand extended.

It pierced the woman’s chest, striking awfully near to Keikoa’s arm.“The only one beheaded here today shall be your King. Beaumont shall strike back with a vengeance, ruthless and merciless. And all ye who oppose this revenge shall be slaughtered by their blades,” he heard himself say, his voice loud and raspy, speaking words that had not come from him. He exploded into a spherical energy blast once more, shattering the circle before they could strike, and leaving only himself and Keikoa unharmed.

He felt himself snapback to his normal self, and fell to a knee, a painful throb erupting in his chest. He couldn’t understand what had happened, had Adenosine’s blood tainted him? “I’m sorry, Keikoa,” he whispered, a tear falling from his cheek and splattering into the muddied ground. []

It all happened to fast for Keikoa even to react, or even to attempt to save Amalia. The young child had no business in this, and yet she died because of it. Keikoa watched, as everything around her went in slow motion. Amalia's eye looked up at Keikoa's. For a moment, Amalia didn't even know what had just happen, neither did Keikoa.

The young child clutched her chest, and slowly sank to her knees. Keikoa dropped to her knees, gathering Amalia up into her arms. Who would do such a thing? Keikoa saw the circle that was formed around her wasn't there anymore. Prince Cronus dropped to his knee, it couldn't be him. What possessed him to do this, Amalia meant no harm. Keikoa rocked slowly with Amalia in her arms.

?I?m sorry, Keikoa,? he whispered

Once the soldiers, saw that the messenger was dead. They immediately rushed foward to Keikoa. They tore her arms away from the child, all she could do is stare in disbelief. Prince Cronus would never kill just to do it. There was no reason, the child possed no threat.

"What is your decision?" One of the soldiers asked, gripping Keikoa's arm tightly.

Keikoa's mind seemed numb, she couldn't think now. The pain had gone, and all she felt was anger. Nobody deserved to die for no reason, and yet here on this battle ground stupidity had taken over, and death was around her. If she said yes, it would stop Aden would be safe, along with the Prince. Keikoa's dark eyes slowly turned red with anger. She looked down at Cronus, not feeling much like herself, then back up at the soldier.

"My answer is yes, I will reign Princess of the Constatine Castle, stop the fight now, and take me to the king." Keikoa said with no emotions left in her tone, "I'm sorry Prince Cronus, there was no choice left."

The soldiers started to lead Keikoa off. Once she was secure in the building, all soldiers would cease to fight. Keikoa would soon be placed on her throne as Princess of Constatine Castle. Only problem was, she wasn't the sweet-hearted person she once was, she had turn cold.

Aden stopped where he was when he heard Keikoa agree to the king. He cut down the guards around him and shouted, "Keikoa do not do it, He will have you killed thats how he got the rest of your family!" He paused to stab some guards that were advancing on him. "If you wont kill the king then I will." Adenosine stood in front of the secret door and commanded it to open. When the passage closed he heard people pounding on it he ignored them and ran down the path.

"Time for you to die, Kendric." Aden came to the end of the hall way and kicked the door open. The door was hidden by a picture that was situated behind the King's throne, when Adenosine kicked the door he caused the picture to fly off the wall, scaring everyone in the hall. As Adeosine stepped through the hole the king's elite guard pounced onto him, skilled as they were they were no match to Aden due to his healing. The guards lay either dead or wounded only a few seconds after the fight and Aden just kept on walking as his numerous wounds healed.

"Why if it isn't Adenosine, Captain of the Constantine Guard. What can we do for you." Aden faced the aging king and held up his sword waiting for the attack, "Now come Aden I gave you a chance to live why don't you take it?"

"You have destroyed everything I worked for Kendric, Why?" With a curious look on his face, Kendric did not even reply only attacked Aden as he stood there. With the blow quickly blocked, Aden was confused on how Kendric could attack without a weapon until he saw two silver rapiers extending from his robes. He grinned and went onto the offensive.

|| "The King must die, Prince," said a voice in his head. Cold, raspy and menacing it echoed in his head, until he screamed out, gripping his blade in his hand once more and running after Adenosine. He'd seen where the man had disappeared through. He issued Gerret the command, and instantly the giant sized man exploded through the wall, revealing the passageway.

An energy burst expelled from the hidden passage, striking Adenosine and the King, and instantly separating them. The Prince emerged from the hideaway passage, his sword hanging loosely in his right hand. “There is no need for that Adenosine. The Princess Keikoa has chosen her will. Let us see if this vermin can keep his word… at his end,” Cronus said aloud.

He stepped toward the Constantine King, the man’s face now flustered and older than before. He noticed the queen still sat, completely still and silent, emotionless. “We shall allow you to relinquish your power, and abdicate your throne to her majesty Keikoa,” Cronus said, “Shall you try anything else, Sir Adenosine shall be upon you before you can issue even the hint of a command to kill the girl,” he said, speaking quickly as his eyes darted to the entrance door.

“I can no longer stay here, protect her Adenosine. This is her Kingdom; the choice it seems is not ours. My guard shall stay behind to ensure you comply, and that this foul King keeps to his word,” The Prince said, nodding to Adenosine, who he hoped understood.

His guard walked past him, encircling Adenosine, and the others around the King. Beaumont would have the advantage even before Constantine could try to do anything. With that the Prince nodded, and turned on his heel. “How is your father, boy?” he heard the king asking, his tone sarcastic. The prince stopped, and without turning said, “As dead as your son.”
He didn’t see the reply of the king, as he’d left the hall. His guard would restrain Adenosine for the while.

He straddled through the streets now. The people bumping him as he walked, but he cared not, and continued on in his ill manner. He’d made his way here through the servant’s passage Keikoa had first told him about. He remembered the site of her face as she looked at him after he’d killed that innocent girl. It hurt him. He couldn’t stay there to face her; it would be enough to kill him if he saw that look again. He wasn’t sure what was going to happen, but he stuck to what he said… it was her kingdom, therefore her choice.

He would fade away in the crowd, hoping for the best. He had ensured that Keikoa would be safe once she entered the King's Chamber.
“The King will die,” the strange voice in his head said again. Cronus stopped, “Yes… yes he will,” he muttered, speaking to the voice. ||

The guards lead Keikoa straight to the king's chambers. Something strange had enveloped her, she wasn't quite the same person. Inside she felt cold, it was as if something was making her feel this way. Hate, and anger burned through her like a quick spreading fire. With her eye's downcast, she walked along with the guards with her fingers laced in front of her. What now? She had gotten her fairytale, at the cost of losing a friend. Did Prince Cronus deserve this after all that has happened? Yes he killed an innocent child, but he wasn't himself.

The long hallway came to an end, once the guards stopped, and spread apart to let Keikoa through. One of the guards opened the door letting Keikoa inside. The king sat next to the queen as always, with Aden standing there. Something went off, it was adoration for her friend. She was glad to see Aden alright, and in one piece. Maybe after all she had made the right choice. Keikoa stood there in front of the king, who looked at her with a speculating eye.

"Well...There is no need to keep lying to you my child. You are an heir to the throne, and I will keep my end on the bargain." The king spoke in an emotionless tone, Keikoa had grown to know so well.

"You have my deepest gratitude my lord." Keikoa lifted her eyes to meet the king, there were just as cold, no longer kind and soft.

"I'm sure of it. My d...d...daughter." The king gulped hard, "We will have a coming out ball for the princess. To set her on the throne, that is if it pleases you my dear." The king finallly gave a smirk.

"Why of course I want the best, and nothing but.." Keikoa grinned, "It will be three days from now no days more, or less. I want...I want Prince Cronus to attend." Keikoa said looking straight into the eyes of the king.

"I'm sure that he wouldn't want to attend. We can see to the detaila later, go now change, and get suited for dinner tonight. Your life style will change. Adenosin of course will be with at all times, they think I will go back on my word." The King was seemingly uncomfortable.

"Father, why would they ever think a thing like that." Keikoa said sarcastically. She gave a slight bow, and headed for the door, signaling for Aden.

"This...this isn't me. I don't want this, I don't...I don't." Keikoa's thoughts were raging. Keikoa only smirked, and walked on. "So Aden you decided to stay?" Keikoa asked, raising a brow.

Adenosine followed Keikoa out of the room and quickly caught up with her.

"So Aden you decided to stay?"

"King Cronus asked me to protect you until you take the throne." They walked in silence for a few moments while Adenosine thought about Cronus ,"I believe that Cronus may come back and do something stupid and in case he does come back I want you to have this." Aden procured the vial of his blood he took earlier and handed it to Keikoa. "Becareful cause if you are not hurt and you take that it could possibly make your heart explode." They reached Keikoa's wing of the castle and Adenosine stopped in front of the door. As with Constantine's rules, only servants were allowed in the royals rooms. All guards have to stay outside unless invited by the room's occupant. *She should know this since she was a servant at this place. Though the rules could have changed since my exile.* Aden waited next to the door for Keikoa's orders on to whether or not he could enter.

Keikoa stopped in front of her door, and looked at the vile with a smirk. Her eyes moved from the vile, to Aden's. Keikoa nodded slightly, and closed her hands around the vile.

"Now we wouldn't want that would we?" Keikoa turned to open her door, "In about three days I will be Princess of the Constatine castle, then you can take your leave."

Keikoa entered her new room. Instead of being estatic about it, she was just plain. No emotions of joy, no wow over anything. The room was just a room to her, just a cold room. Keikoa sat on the bed, while two servant girls entered. Both of which she knew, yet she looked down on them. What really had come over her? Keikoa handed, one of the girls a blade.

"You there...Karen...run me a bath, I'm filthy, and need to dress." Keikoa said almost as if barking an order.

A menacing smile played across her lips, as her eyes flickered, from brown to red. Soon, she would control everything, and nobody would stop her.
