The entire point of your original post was to gaslight and spread your transphobic worldview. Nothing more nothing less. You weren’t looking to have a serious debate. I’ve seen you make transphobic statements in other threads as well. Calling that out isn’t hate speech. That’s calling it like it is.
It looks to me as though you are backpedaling. The debate of this thread is wether or not cis and trans women can compete on par in sports. It is not whether a trans person's gender is a debatable topic. And if you honestly believe that's what the topic of this thread is and are claiming that is what OP's post was about, then you should have shut it down for transphobia. So which is it? Are you making transphobic comments by saying a trans person's gender is debatable? Or are you allowing a transphobic thread to continue where you believe a debate is taking place surrounding a trans person's gender?

I agree but it’s hard to have a dialogue with people who are intolerant and unaccpting of others. They think that being called what they in some cases openly admit to being is hateful. It’s impossible to have a dialogue with people who have a preconceived opinion based on their own fears. I’m not change anyone’s mind. And you’re right, what it comes down to is just a basic level of respect. I’ll respect everyone unless they give me a reason not too. The original poster has made transphobic remarks to me in another since deleted thread, so I know the original post wasn’t trying to have a healthy debate. It’s just to gaslight.
No where in my post did I suggest you should change how you feel about something. I understand that you don't agree. But to answer your question, using someone's preferred pronouns is the respectful and decent thing to do. You should call her by her preferred pronouns for the same reason I should refer to you by yours. If I called you "he" and you identified as "she," how would that feel when I spoke to you? At minimum it would likely feel weird or wrong if its not a term you identify with. At the other end of the spectrum, it might feel insulting or derogatory if you thought someone was doing it to harass or offend you. So even when speaking to someone you disagree with, it's best for both sides of this argument to treat each other with at least basic decency if you have any intention beyond being intentionally disrespectful.
