I can't say much about it in a public forum, but advice on how to deal with it would be much appreciated. ( I am not micromanaged here so don't even start that nonsense.)
I don't think she's asking how to be a more adept micromanager 😅. It sounds like she is being micromanaged and is welcoming input as to how to deal with it better.Play the sims with a full household. You'll either be an expert or have a panic attack as they all slowly die
creed is the guy right?Do we need to have a word with Arga? I know a guy who can write a strongly worded letter for you and we can send it anonymously.
( I am not micromanaged here so don't even start that nonsense.)
@Argamaethos is clearly the problem. I'm filing a formal complaint.Do we need to have a word with Arga? I know a guy who can write a strongly worded letter for you and we can send it anonymously.
Like post on the forums?i ignore it and do my own thing.
God no. I wouldn’t trust that thing to write a birthday cardcreed is the guy right?
I’m glad this doesn’t happen in my country.I can't say much about it in a public forum, but advice on how to deal with it would be much appreciated. ( I am not micromanaged here so don't even start that nonsense.)
straight to jail with you.You are the micromanager!
what if you get a message every five seconds and if you don't answer they show up at your desk?i ignore it and do my own thing.
You gotta be honest with people like that and say you can’t get anything done with them hounding you constantly. In a professional manner of coursewhat if you get a message every five seconds and if you don't answer they show up at your desk?
I said don't start that nonsense.Do we need to have a word with Arga? I know a guy who can write a strongly worded letter for you and we can send it anonymously.
what if they are someone that retaliates through passive aggressive behavior? You gotta be honest with people like that and say you can’t get anything done with them hounding you constantly. In a professional manner of course
Then you report that to HR. Nobody should be using any sort of intimidation tactics on youwhat if they are someone that retaliates through passive aggressive behavior?
what if you get a message every five seconds and if you don't answer they show up at your desk?
this sounds like a pretty hostile work environment. as much as it pains me i have to agree with finn. (it pains me to agree with finn and also because i hate human resources) but it's time to get somebody involved in this. whether it's hr or a supervisor or somebody. not really knowing the structure of your workplace. nobody should have to put up with this nonsense.what if they are someone that retaliates through passive aggressive behavior?
It may have to happen this way. I would much rather not though.this sounds like a pretty hostile work environment. as much as it pains me i have to agree with finn. (it pains me to agree with finn and also because i hate human resources) but it's time to get somebody involved in this. whether it's hr or a supervisor or somebody. not really knowing the structure of your workplace. nobody should have to put up with this nonsense.
i tend to have zero problems blowing everything up, burning bridges and leaving a disaster behind me, but i know that's not how most normal people handle things. so i'll let more responsible/reasonable people advise you.
I know it seems easier to not make waves. But you can’t let someone walk all over you and create an unhappy work environment for you. If your HR department is professional, you’ll be kept away from things after making a report and they’ll deal with the situation. It may have to happen this way. I would much rather not though.
No, I am afraid to do it. I have talked to their boss about it.I know it seems easier to not make waves. But you can’t let someone walk all over you and create an unhappy work environment for you. But before it comes to that, have you tried having a frank discussion with this individual?
Ooooooohhhh.... still applies tbhI don't think she's asking how to be a more adept micromanager 😅. It sounds like she is being micromanaged and is welcoming input as to how to deal with it better.
And did their boss not do anything about it?No, I am afraid to do it. I have talked to their boss about it.
I think they talked to them cause it stopped for like a week. And did their boss not do anything about it?
Go to them again. Tell them it’s still happening and say you don’t want to escalate it further but you may have to if it doesn’t stopI think they talked to them cause it stopped for like a week.
You are too passive you need to assert your dominance In the workplaceI think they talked to them cause it stopped for like a week.
So are you micromanaged here? Oh myI can't say much about it in a public forum, but advice on how to deal with it would be much appreciated. ( I am not micromanaged here so don't even start that nonsense.)

MM loves her job and she couldnt hurt a butterflyPeople who micromanage are control freaks. Tell them that they can either let you do the job that they are paying you to do, or that they can do it themselves.
T H I S.Document everything. Emails, meetings with HR, dealings with this person, etc. Especially if it’s already been brought up to management and the person is ignoring their recommendations.
Don’t have to hurt anyone. Being firm is an art though.MM loves her job and she couldnt hurt a butterfly
