how is it not a micro aggression? i already stated how it's basically working on the premise that it's their choice by asking that question. are you that absolutely thick that you don't understand the basic foundations of the language he's using? there's absolutely nothing respectful about this thread. he is the shitshow you're referring to here.

The term "gay" is an adjective used to describe someone who is romantically or sexually attracted to exclusively individuals who identify as the same gender as they do. So why is someone gay? Because they are romantically or sexually attracted to their same gender. You're welcome.

Thank you but your assistance is not required as i did not ask what is gay, I asked why are you gay. I want to know why people identify as gay. If you find this intrusive then move onto the next thread. I dont need to justify my sexual orientation with idiots like stubleu and you dont need to explain your sexual orientation to me either. Nobody is forcing you to share anything so carry on if you just want to try to insult my intelligence.

I thought I answered that in my post, but I will try again. People identify as gay when they have an attraction to individuals of their same gender and feel that adjective most accurately describes their sexual orientation.

I don't really know how to answer that. I don't think it was a rebellion, I can't speak for my siblings, but for me definitely not. I was a rebel in different ways to my parents but definitely not in what I like or dislike. If that makes sense
