I personally will never be directing anyone to any of your ridiculous, hateful threads. I’ll do what I’ve always done if people talk about suicide in chat. Warn them to stop. Provide them with mental health resources. And if they continue then I will incrementally mute/kick them, per the rules and standard practice.

So to talk about this subject can be hard. I think people shouldn't lie abt suicide to get attention. It's hard for me to talk about bc of my very close bff. He was going through a terrible situation and he ended up killing himself. I tried to be there for him. I find it hard bc i was at his house with him when he killed himself. He asked me to go get him a drink. When i left he seemed fine. When i came back he killed himself. I tried saving him he barely had a heartbeat. When i yelled for his parents by the time they came up he died in my arms. Everyday i see the whole thing. I deal with the guilt all the time. So people joking abt suicide and talking abt it just for attention is very wrong to do. I am sry if i answered very wrong. I just gave my opinion.

sadly, that is all too common & too often what happens & that was the same situation for my father...

IDK about ur friend, but my family is pretty unanimous that the reason he never said anything to anyone, especially my mom is bc he didn't feel like he wanted to burden his family with his problems more than he already has...

it wasn't bc of some outrageous nonsense like; *talking about suicide is stigmatized, & if he felt like he could & not be seen as if he's just wanting attention then maybe he would has* quite the contrary, if anything we live in a day & age where it's encouraged... which im sure is likely the case w/ ur friend too, probablys & this is just speculating, like my father felt the same way about it being burdensome...

ur friend certainly if he wasn't talking to u or ur family about it, wasn't coming onto chat-avenue or any other chatroom & droning on about it 9/10 of the time they're on there... bc ur friend was sincerely suffering, & suffering silently, & not doing it for something as petty as attention...

unlike abigail, katelyn_uk, or dionysus...

i find solace in that, & it allows me to worry more about how it effects my mother & older sisters than how it effects me bc they took it the hardest for sures...
