those rules don't do anything to prevent people from talking about suicide in chat, if they were as effective as u seem to imagine them being then the mods wouldn't has to mute / kick / tell katelyn_uk to stop talking about suicide every damn time she is there...

@TheDifference the gentlemanly and honorable thing to do in this situation would be to admit defeat and apologize. False accusations won’t get you anywhere in life. If anything, they will come to haunt you and gnaw away at your conscience. You openly defended someone who made insensitive and hateful accusations about Babydolla’s family. Her father took his life. At the end of the day, are you still able to look at yourself in the mirror and say you’re a decent human being?

Neither you nor I nor anyone can know why someone comes to chat ave to talk about suicide. They may be seriously thinking about it and just want to reach out to another human being. Or they may just be trolling for attention. Your position is that the ONLY reason is for attention. But you can’t know what’s in the other persons mind or their intentions. Neither can I.
So the rule is suicide talk is not allowed. And it’s a good rule.

I’m defending someone whose father took his life. Try to put yourself in her position for once. I love my parents and if anyone defended someone (Sanguine in this case) who talked trash about my parents in front of me in real life, I’d put them to sleep in a blink of an eye. the whole way he went about this as well just contributed & aided towards my entire argument, & the point i am trying to make... that there are some moderators here that are perfectly content with ppl going on about acting this way & manipulating ppl using suicide as a method in doing so, & going as far as to inappropriately intervene...
believing that the rules as they currently stand in regards to suicide are effective in deterring this behavior, when they just come back & continue unchecked... so they actually aren't at all...
bc they has the bizarre notion that it's possible that their incessant spamming of the subject is an indicator that they may actually be seriously contemplating the deed... even though on just about every social media site, & online community like this one, it's a general rule of thumb to never take anything u read seriously, & be under the presumption that it's entirely false...
back to the initial concern that there are minors on this website,
if there are genuinely suicidal people here they aren't discussing it openly & if they truly want to reach out, they know there are resources it's 2023 & discussing suicide isn't something that is stigmatized it's encouraged precisely why there are such a large magnitude of resources available for suicide prevention & mental health care...
that said, just as sexual discussions aren't tolerated around minors, neither should be suicide, bc that is equally just as poisonous to the brains of kids as discussing sex around them is...
