It comes from the party that only cares about themselves and people or policies that make them money. The Republican speaker just proposed a funding bill for Israel and gutted everything with the IRS so that the rich aren't affected. For decades they've gutted child programs, demonized single mothers, complained about paying taxes to feed unemployed families. Now theyde forcing women to have kids when they know they can't support them.I have met so many "pro-lifers" who are against contraceptives to prevent pregnancies, universal healthcare for kids, social programs that ensure kids are fed properly, gun control to ensure they aren't killed in their classrooms, and sex education so more unintended pregnancies don't happen. I've also met some who are in support of repealing child labor laws, and some are even against fathers being forced to make child support payments because "the woman was the irresponsible one"?
I don't understand how someone can claim to be pro-life while also being strongly against anything that improves the child's life after they're born.
There are already laws and programs in place to cover all that you mentioned. I'm only pro choice because its not my decision to make for another person but I do believe that birth control for the soul purpose of birth control is just wrong.I have met so many "pro-lifers" who are against contraceptives to prevent pregnancies, universal healthcare for kids, social programs that ensure kids are fed properly, gun control to ensure they aren't killed in their classrooms, and sex education so more unintended pregnancies don't happen. The ones that are in place are actively under attack by the same politicians that are making anti-abortion talking points. And "abortion" isn't done as birth control usually; it isn't exactly a pleasant experience for anyone involved. It's often a last resort. There are already laws and programs in place to cover all that you mentioned. The mother would otherwise be forced to have a child they don't want and likely won't care for. Our social system doesn't have the capacity to take care of any more unwanted children than it is already burdened with. I agree that it shouldn't be used as birth control, but I don't think it is an option that should be taken away.@Radiation All the data being collected supports my statement. More abortions are being preformed simply because the individual just doesn't want to have a child.
Although I agree it should be an option, because its not my decision to make for another, there are better alternatives like not having sex that could lead to an unwanted child. And before there is outrage that not all sex is consensual I do understand, and there are exceptions to the rule as always. The mother would otherwise be forced to have a child they don't want and likely won't care for. I skipped reading all of this to say if you don’t have womb stfu.
There are definitely instances where the mother’s life is put at risk in the absence of an abortion.
It’s not murder. It’s healthcare.
Her body. Her choice.
