Repeated abortions aren’t always linked to a lack of education. What if a woman has been raped multiple times in her lifetime? Can’t force a woman to keep a pregnancy against her wishes. Whichever way you look at it, she should be the one who decides in all cases.

Same reason I’m in favour of active voluntary euthanasia and to my knowledge, we are one of the very few countries who have legalized active voluntary euthanasia where an individual is able to decide for themselves if they want to end their life.

The more I think about the title, the more I think abortion is birth control. However, the debate seems to be about the morality.

I've already provided one statement from a clinical associate professor of pediatrics. i.e. A medical professional and an expert in her field.

Not enough? Here's another from an institution that specialises in this very subject and outlines the campaign waged by mostly right wing anti-abortion groups to label it a form of birth control to further their political ends:

It would seem that Bread is doing much the same if - see the blatantly emotional and inflammatory language in the opening statement he made and quoted in the previous post.

But contraception is not the only form of birth control. Terminating a pregnancy IS controlling the birth. And the majority of abortions preformed are solely preformed for reasons of inconvenience to the mother.
 
Read the two items I linked. Birth control or contraception is about preventing pregnancy. Abortion is about terminating a pre-existing pregnancy. They aren't the same thing at all.

Anyone who thinks a woman wants to go for a medical intervention whether it's a drug induced miscarriage or a surgical procedure as a means of birth control is only fooling themselves or just mindlessly repeating pro-life dogma. Abortion is an action of last resort.

By definition -- Its in the wording itself -- Birth Control. Controlling a Birth weather before or after conception is still control.
