I chose to reply to this single comment as I think the context impact more the one room. Protection of minors should obviously be the number one priority for any staff member or decent person. The issues like this, minors being exploited is not just confined to General Chat. Now before I go on, this is not a witch hunt post against H.R. Its more a comment that I hope gets seen and something can be done as a whole. These same types of things happen in Girls Chat as well, so much so that a staff member is actively involved. As most know, Girls Chat is 13+ so sexual things right there in main would be a no go, or so you would think. While a good portion is removed by a couple of the moderators, one even being so fed up with it she quit (Although rehired now). Although somehow only the chatter are blamed when a staff member is involved more than anyone else. I've presented proof to Enchantress, who then doesn't even bother to acknowledge the overly sexual nature of the comments to both adults and minors by one of her own staff members. Furthermore, this staff member is incredibly close to a person who was banned from this site, a lifetime ban I believe, for grooming minors and then created her own site (Which the staff member in question has done and been banned for multiple times on various accounts). Maybe somebody can answer the question for me, these things going on and admins allowing it to happen as in giving a platform for this behavior, can the site become vulnerable? The very last thing I'd ever want to see is something happen to this site, especially when the problems can be easily fixed. When I was a moderator, I didnt kick for pleasure so this isnt saying I want to see people kicked left and right or anything of that nature. Acts like doxxing, exploitation of minors, and other abuses are things Id assume anyone would agree are the big issues. An Admin is supposed to be the leader of a room, promote whats right and keep it a fun place, am I wrong? Over the last 8 months, in the room Ive been part of for almost 9 years, its been filled with the things Ive mentioned (along with person things done to me i.e. photoshopped things but thats another story for another time). As I said, I spoke to the admin of the room I visit, supplied proof, and all I got was yet an accusation thrown my way that I own a chat site, which I dont. I dont go to General Chat, so again I wont make a definitive comment about H.R. one way or the other, but what I do know is the interactions Ive had on serious matters with my rooms admin and how they have not been handled at all. Mute and kick people for a lip biting GIF or asking why a friend feels the need to look over their shoulder, but a moderator openly telling minors how she touches herself is not a big deal? What is the end game for these things? Is there one? Or is it a case where the site has to take a hit before something is done? This is my 2 cents, my concerns, and my experiences when it comes to peoples safety as of late. So again, it seems to be a growing problem not just in one room.
Lastly I just want to thank the Admins and Moderators from every room that do try to keep this place safe, successful, and fun. In no way shape or form is that a troll post to bash this site or the staff as a whole. Just wanted to make sure people get the credit they deserve and make it so this post wasnt all about negativity.
